About
Highland Bassett Hounds was created in November of 2010, our breeding troupe consists of Maggie our female Bassett and Angus our male Bassett. Angus ( He's a Ziggy Boy) is a black, red and white saddleback with a white tip tail. Maggie (Sam's Sweet Meringue) is red, black and white also with a white tipped tail.
Our Business
We breed Bassett Hound Puppies in Oregon, once a year. We do this so we can still have a business, without contributing to the many homeless puppies in the US. We base our business on reservations on purchases. We list our puppies on puppyfind.com and have pictures available. People who have purchased our previous Bassett Hound puppies were very happy, and loved the color they grew into.
The picture featured on the left is of a female bassett hound puppy we had two litters ago, this is the most common color pattern we get with our puppies. Usually red heads and black bodies with white accents, and white tipped tail.
Our litters usually fall between 7-10 puppies each litter, our puppies are not backyard bred or born in a puppy mill. We have them inside our home, and they stay with us inside the house until they leave. We do name our puppies, just because it is more personal when selling them. We love each puppy and like to adjust them to their name.
Buying a Bassett Hound Puppy
The buying process is fairly simple. You can check our listings on puppyfind.com or check out puppies here on the site.
Once you have decided on a puppy, simply send us an email or give us a call. You can mail your reserve fee to our address, (We'll provide it in the email) and we will reserve your puppy for you. Upon delivery or pickup you must pay your fee in full.
Your down payment can be as small as 50.00 to the full purchase price. With your reserve fee you will receive a PDF receipt by email listing your down payement and the rest of your bill that is due. You will also receive a paper copy upon delivery.
Puppies come with registery papers, a contract paper, receipt for the sale and can be delivered within the Salem, Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, Bend, Lapine, and Redmond Area.
